Bluegrass at the Grange- posted 10.7.11

Come join us up in Longmont for the 2011 Bluegrass at the Grange Concert Series on 10/22/11. It takes place at the turn-of-the-last-century Altona Grange Hall. We'll be joining the High Plains Tradition for an evening of great music.

Join us at the All Colorado Bluegrass Festival in Castle Rock - posted 5.2.11

Come on down to the Douglas County Events Center and see 10 great Colorado bluegrass bands in Castle Rock on Saturday May 14, 2011. The Acoustic Mining will be on the main (Barn) stage at 12pm, and then on the acoustic (Kitchen) stage at 2pm. For more information check out the All Colorado Bluegrass Festival website.

Fun stuff around the corner - posted 3.11.11

Come on up to Breckenridge on 4/2/11 for a show at the Motherloaded Tavern and the best spring skiing in the last 25 years. We're also excited to be sharing the bill with our friends Lonesome Traveler at Avogadro's Number in Fort Collins, CO on 4/15/11.

On another note, we just finished up mixing a few tracks that will most likely be on our third CD. Keep checking our Facebook page for a preview.

Upcoming dates - posted 1.28.11

The band is excited to play live again. Starting 2011 out at Conor O'Neill's in Boulder on 1/29/11, they will being play a few shows each month with notables like the Goat Soup & Whiskey in Keystone on Friday, 2/18 and Frozen Dead Guy Days in Nederland on 3/5. Other upcoming shows include Cañon Rose Acoustic Society - Cañon City, CO, Motherloaded Tavern - Breckenridge, CO; All Colorado Bluegrass Festival - Castle Rock, CO; and Cactus Jacks - Evergreen, CO.

Back in the Studio - posted 12.15.10

The band is taking a well-deserved break from performing during the holidays. However, the music never stops. They'll be heading back into the studio in mid-December to lay down 5 new tracks. Look for them soon for download.

Fundraising with Oakhurst - posted 11.13.10

The band will be opening for Oakhurst at the D-Note on Nov 20, 2010. We'll be raising money for the Boys and Girls club of America. Grow out your facial hair and win some great prizes while soaking in some true Colorado bluegrass.
